PATCH NOTES 2.0.4.954

- Fix the presence of Technical services concerning maps without the associated ressources:
Krakatoa, Hollywood, Kong Kong, New York, The Green Hills, The Grassy Canyons, The Eroded Coast, The Cliffs, Cayman Islands.
- Fix the disappearance of the button "Toogle individual buildings/zoning".
- Fix of the differences between the actual cost and the displayed one of all buildings.
- Fix issues on the color of the status indicators for Industry and Commerce buildings.
- Fix a font problem.
- Fixed incorrect display when filtering the maps.
- Increase of the display size of the interface.

Bug Fix Pack from Soltan Gris (XLNation.net) included:

- Fix the Water Special Office not showing up.
- Fix an hotel road connection.
- Fix the residences.
- Fix an issue on the monthly cost of the "Large uptown avenue" on the american set.
- Fix small mistakes.

I cant! I`ve download the steam version and versoin of the *.exe file are 1.0.5.725 no update are available :((( and the game is full of bugs(

dont look at exe
they didnt change exe in last past only the files

you got the update

do a verify game cache

its just how steam works they only update the changed files and not other files

saves u having to reload the whole thing or larger patch

ok, thanks but nothing changed in the game. i still have the interface bug, where layout is overlapping. Budget is go out the left side of the screen. resolution i have- 1280x1024.

the above lists what has changed.

i run game 1920x1200 so i dont see what your talking about. also they have options to scale the size of interface.

so go to game options and change the screen resolution and there you can also change the interface scaling.

so its not bug, its you settings. also if you have problems contact focus support. but i think it more your settings than a real problem

solved! and solved by delete profile folder e.g. the folder with saves in the %USERROOT% windows folder.

tht resets settings

the bad thing about that is if u had any cities they are gone

This game is still full of bugs regardless of the version....maybe by version 50 they will have it right!

all software has bugs

and this one like all the rest is without question has bugs

but thos bugs do not stop me from using it and having loads of fun

it runs solid on my box

sure there a little issues, here and there, mostly invisible and do not get in the way.


sure from time to time the quick save is corrupt, but ive never personally had the problem

i personally dont rely on a single quick save and do my own saves

but many of the issues and missing stuff is handled by mods that can be found at xlnation.net

I've verified my cache and my steam didn't ask for update
Any clue how to solve this?

My game version is still build 951 according to version.cfg file

yes the version.cfg file does say 951 and yes i know palm to face, but they did change the cities 2013 .pak file which and that did get updated and steam did handle it automatically.

a lot of game have this problem. it appears the whole gaming industry is subpar

Don't use Steam version because no way re install it or get rid 2012 folder.

i have steam versions of cities xl platinum/2012/2011 and i have no problem removing data folder
