owned every release since cities xl 2011 and the game does run great.
sure it has some minor problems. and framerate does come down as the cities get overly large and complex, but with desent enough hardware you can build cities the size of your average real world cities.
so dont try to make cities larger and more complex than your hardware can handle.
but don't just take my word for it, just go to xlnation.net there you will find over 40,000 cities xl members, hundreds of addons for the game and tons of information.
