What is Cities XL platinum ?

I believe it's 2012 + DLC; it doesn't look like 2012 is on the store anymore, unless I'm somehow missing it. Some googling seems to support this, but I'll admit I'm not 100% certain.

Cities XL Platinum

In February 2013 an expansion pack was released for Cities XL 2012 which adds 50 new buildings and a couple of new maps.

Main game (2012) is included as well.

Thank you for the answer, but can we build also villages ? Or are there any mods for the game to build villages ?

Buildings like small village houses, cabins, farms etc. or is this game a pure city simulator ?

the game has a number of models, you can find hundreds of more models at xlnation.net and many hundreds of addons. they also give you modding tools so that you can create and import your own models. a bit technical and you will need 3dsmax

yes on some of the maps you can build farms, depending on if its land that can be farmed.

but along with the farms you will need to build residential, industrial, commercial, governmental, public services, ect... you building a city. the size could be small but it has to be a sustainable working city else your economy and/or population will crash.


this is not a farm builder. there are a number of good farm builders. google, steam has some. thre is i think framing giant they have demo. but number more.
