Cities XL platinum failed to create d3d device
when i try to launch Cities XL platinum it says failed to create d3d device : Unable to find requested mode (800x600@0)

I just got the game and i really want to play
computer specs

i have tryed reinstalling drivers for my graphics card
Please help i really want to try it out!!

I got it to work all i had to do was change my computers screen resolution to have the same aspect ratio as 800x600 witch i think is 4:3 and then i opened up the game and ingame changed the resolution to 1920x1080 and then exited the game changed my computer resolution to its native resolution and then i was able to play the game all fine

you need graphic card / video monitor that support 800x600
