Who here has managed to accidentally telefrag a Shambler???

I actually managed to do just that on E1M3 at the very end, where you have to defeat about 3 or 4 Fiends that teleport in (if played on Hard and Nightmare), and a Shambler.

But I accidentally found out during a test-playthrough, that if you stand in the exact spot where the Shambler normally teleports at, he'll instantly die!!!

I should've taken a screenshot of this and posted the results on here for gits-and-shiggles, =D =D

Hahahaha, you gotta love those ragdoll moments!!! I've had similar incidents like that in "Doom 3" and "Rage", where a bad guy's corpse would sometimes get stuck in a doorway or wall/floor and often spaz out and fly across a room.

I did that in The Necropolis (E1M3) on Nightmare, kill the first Shambler on the platform above the water with the gold key and all the zombies. Three seconds after killing the first, a second shambler spawns right in the middle of the main platform where the two boxes of nails are, and you just run and stand there...SPLAT, Shambler guts urrywhere. It is the most satisfying kill in the game I think, lol.

Watch "Quake Done 100% Quickest" on YouTube, and just sit back and watch, beaten with all kills, all secrets, no deaths on Nightmare. That video is the reason I bought this game on non-sale ($9.99). Telefrags all day.

LOL, I just gotten finished watching that part of the video, and i'm quite impressed at how quickly they finished all 4 episodes in just under an hour.

Totally made a mistake. The first shambler you ever see on Nightmare, is in E1M3. My bad. But its still the same from what I mention way up there in the thread. Still feels good till this day to crush a shambler by standing on his spawn point. haha.

Yup that's the same one I was talking about as well, kill the first shambler in the corner near the doorway with the ramp so it can't hit you, then run over to where the second one spawns... SPLAT
