I'm stuck after killing ellmac

Hey guys,

I'm totally stuck in this amazing game and really have no idea where to go next. I have killed the bosses for mausoleum of giants, the guidance area, and the temple of the sun. I currently have (to the best of my knowledge) explored inferno caverns, Endless corridor and the spring in the sky as much as i can but can't get any further because i lack the required items.

I've tried searching and looking at various guides after busting my ass trying to figure it out for myself. Where am i going wrong?

I'm sorry if this is quite vague but I've really tried to work it out on my own :(

If I am not wrong, you have to buy something in the Twin Labyrinth to be able to continue in the Spring in the sky

In twin labyrinth i don't have the item to get through the coloured walls though. Can i get a spoiler free hint maybe? Thank you in advance!!

I found the shop... oh my god, the whole time i thought that door way was one of the doorways you need the twin item to get through, figuring this out nearly broke me, must try harder! Thanks buddy
