Report a translation problem
They responded in this thread... last month. Apparently this is a "known problem" and we just need to wait. As in we need to wait months.

From what i experienced is that its just an outlook / hotmail issue. I tried to use a gmail account and i got a verification emial within seconds. I disabled the option where they would spam me with promotion material.
Mind explaining how you did that? Because you cannot change your email address without contacting support. And their support system is on a separate system from the one creating the automated codes that tons of people are having problems with. If you created a new account using a gmail address just to create a ticket and got a response to that ticket, it doesn't mean this issue is resolved.
I just made an new account to test if gmail indeed didnt had the issue. And explained in my previous post it worked fine. Unfortunately i wont use the gmail accoun, this since I want my Username that I used when i made the hotmail account.
Also i tried to forward my incoming email to my Gmail account. this also didnt work so I assume the issue lies between the Warframe and Microsoft server. Fingers crossed for a quick fix.
Plus, just google warframe not receiving email code and start looking at the results. People have been posting about this problem since early 2014!!! It happens whenever they have a problem with their servers and it seems to be a very low priority fix for them to recover from. And they do not seem to be doing anything to mitigate the issue from re-occuring. The result is always the same.. wait a few days until someone resets the service then everything starts working again.
I understand why they don't want to admit anything. It's a horrible way to run a service and I'd be embarassed by it too. They lock the accounts even when the issue is caused by server issues. But then they fail to restart the automated services people need to access their accounts until several days afterwards. And worse, all the discussions about the issue all over the internet remain unresolved with misinformation or people put [SOLVED] at the end when the service comes back up thinking they did something to fix it. And so anyone reading about the issue in the future thinks they need to go through reinstalling, restarting, creating gmail accounts and all sorts of other crap when really its just wait until they get off their asses and restart the service.
Yeah, i've noticed this too. For me, this is a great disrespect to their player community.
I have the same problem i am also using hotmail and im not getting any emails so i cant even use support because i cant make a new account! please help
