No they are not cross platform in anyway that I am aware of. The PC version is always a newer version which typically includes numerous major changes from the previous version. Now, it could at least become cross compatible between consoles but even then I think the PS4 version is slightly ahead of the XBone.

The real reason is the MS and Sony don't like competition, and somehow that includes crossplatform, it's not only because consoles would drag PC down even more, I mean in that case xbone and PS4 would still be able to crossplatform right? Well nope, those companies are forcing DE to have closed systems. Which is also why you can't "port" your account any time you please.

Cross platform can occur when the Conclave's rules and content are the same on PC/XB1/PS4. I know this because I once played with a friend who uses the PS4, while I only use PC. However of course this only applies to Conclave, nowhere else

Warframe has no cross platform what so ever, and most likely will not have it in the future due to legal agreements with Sony and Microsoft, not to mention difference in versions. Two versions are completely separate.

that's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. this is why we need a national gaming league (or ngl for short) for these sorts of matters. a game is a game regardless of legal matters and it's said legal matters that keep people from playing together. consoles are a clear cash grab like apple and there barely upgraded phones with each one that comes out; there's literally no reason to not have cross platform play. other than basic programming, i cant see a reason other than money being the reason why all current games cant be when we all know it wouldnt be that hard to make them able to.

No offense dude, but it is entirely possible for cross-platform to be difficult -if not impossible- to do, because of the limitations of the platform. Namely, for the same kind of reason you can't just play every PC game on a Mac; different hardware might not be able to run the same engines or drivers, for one reason or another.

There are plenty of reasons. The primary issue with Warframe would be update synchronization. At present, PC more or less serves as the beta testing platform to find and iron out most bugs contained in new updates before they ever get shipped to the console versions. Cross-platform for PC would require it to run the same version as consoles, which would stop that from happening and likely force DE to exponentially increase the amount of development time spent on in-house bug testing. It would additionally further delay the PC version's updates by a solid month each, as the PC version could not be updated until the same update on the console versions finally got through the console companies' update approval processes.
