The Login Reward Problem In Warframe
Dear Digital Extremes,

The Primed Shred has become available to obtain today, should the player have reached the 600 day login reward. The stats look great, and the utility is doubtlessly phenomenal. I'm excited to get it.

Unfortunately, I am not in the position to obtain this mod at this time due to my job occupation, being unable to login to the game for months at a time because of work. This is unavoidable, and there is no workaround to this problem.

I am approximately 200 days behind receiving this login reward and there is no way to 'catch up' to the time lost. That's it. You snooze, you loose. Too bad.

This is VERY disconcerting, as it seems very elitist in concept to restrict access to content by playtime. There is no means to 'earn' this time back, or redeem the days lost to return to the 'current' achievable login day reward.

The game is very much still playable, and there is much I currently enjoy and more I look forward to. I will not downplay the frustration of this, though, just because there are other good things available and in the works.

To be frank, current aspect of the login reward system passively 'locking out' players is incredibly bad. Just really bad.

Thanks for reading, and I'd like to get as much feedback as the community has to offer.

Have a great day!

Oh, I'm sorry. My apologies. Should I add expletives to express resentment and hasten a resolution? Again, I'm so sorry.

There should be chances to get a "catch up" boost in the daily login rewards that will boost your login date by 1/3/5/10 days but skips the rewards (milestone rewards for each 50 login days are still rewarded), until you are up to the very day since the new login reward system is introduced. That'll actually be pretty neat.

I'm so sorry. It seems that another gentleman has also noted my lack of 'salt' in this address, and I must apologies to all subject to reading this. I will attempt to repair this fault in my writing on future occasions.

They really do need some form of a catch up system.

to be honest it doesn't bother me, much

i know at some point my login streak will break

we could probably view it as a reward for having no life and to be fair they may be entitled to compensation for that :steammocking:

Well, I don't have any problems with the current system. While I do agree that it might suck for players who want certain rewards, I always see it as DE's way to reward long-time players who stayed loyal to the game. Primed Shred sounds good and all, but is it even necessary? How many viable builds can even allow for such a mod and sacrifice utility/status or just pure damage? The best log-in rewards are Primed Fury and Zenistar imo, and those can be obtained at 200 and 300 days.
What I could see working, however, is a system as follows: Have a certain amount of days (maybe 3?) in which the player can log in and still keep the past 2 days towards the overall daily log-in goal.
This way you'd still have to wait 600 days, however, you're not punished for missing 1 or 2 days.

maybe make it monthly, if you can log in 75% of a standard calander month you qualify

Do you want to do more damage to one enemy but have the rest swarm you or do you want to shred through multiple at once? Do you want to engage pesky ancients that are clearly hiding behind cover waiting for you to come around the corner and blast you with their eximus powers? Are you tired of your non-automatic weapons firing too slowly? Then look no further! Primed Shred is up for grabs to every Tenno in the Sol system... after they've logged in for 600 days.

Now I just ask out of curiosity.. what kind of work prevents you from logging in AT ALL, for months at a time?
