I don't mind the delay, in video games there is really no such thing as a release date anymore. But if Amazon and publishing partner knows about delay, Larian should have posted a notice by now. It is unprofessional and poor of them not to inform us.

I hope this game will not be another Blood Knights.
Blood Knights became infamous of it's many delays in short times.
Everytime before the release date arrived, the game was delayed for another weeks,
until nobody expected it anymore.

In the end the game was a piece of something that comes out of your rosette!
But that's another story and Divinity is a good game! :-)

Some people see "10 days delay." I see "10 days worth of extra polishing and bug-fixing." That can only be a good thing.

Depends. I think it's pretty stupid to take time off from work to play a game, and especially if you don't even know if the game will be out by then. Taking time off to play a MMO at launch day isn't very smart, either. (hint: there *will* be a lot of issues like long log-in quees etc.) First get the game, *then* take time off to play it. ;)

Bummer. But Stabbey's right if they feel 10 more days will polish the game more and mean less bugs they have to hear people complain about then I think it's a wise idea. I'd rather developers erred on being cautious anyway and providing good product right from release. From what I've already seen of this game it's a gem and 10 extra days won't hurt that perception!

Why is it stupid? I get paid time off; I can use it however I want, and if that's to play a computer game so be. It's not your place to tell me how I can or cannot use my days off.

And Wildstar? That awful, generic, technically lacking game? I was in the beta for months, yeah, you're better off not playing that mess.
