Let us know your impressions!
We're curious to hear what you think are the strong and the weak parts of the game. The more you tell us, the more we'll fix.

Strong part so far: RTS, free camera, voice overs and multi-player. Weak part: no single-player missions.

I would love larger maps for 3v3 or 4v4.

I can't really play much since I always crash before battles start but as a suggestion I'd say add an even smaller map to the multiplayer as default. Whitout the soft guidance a campain usually gives being able to research anything really overwelmed me. By the time I first meet with the enemy (1 on 1) I'll have tier 2 or 3 units and more spells than I can use, whithout even knowing what the troops or spells can or can't do. Or lock some higher up tiers maybe to make the first steps less confusing.

I'll wait to single-player before giving my feelings about the game. For now, the weak points are interface (in turn-based mode), lisibility in strategic mode, AI (pathfinding for large group of units). The strong point is this melting-pot gameplay. But for now, I'm still understanding all of this and wait to reverse the wind of defeat ^^
Seriously, I think you need to make something about interface on strategic map. The unit are little, icons aren't pretty (look'n'feel reminds me an old game), and the most important the interface isn't easy to use. Why right click on capital to access to research ?
On RTS part, the ressource management is difficult to understand and to follow. Few adjustemnt on interface could make this experience better.

Sorry for my english "saucisson" ;)

I'll be perfectly honest. I've been eyeing this game for more or less than a year now and the only thing i've been expecting from this game is the story mission (main campaign) only.

I know the feeling the story is what I was looking for, I hope they will implement some parts of the campaign in the beta soon!

Great Multiplayer campaign map mode, would be nice to have a save feature for the longer games though. Apart from that, its really good. 4v4 maps would also be a great addition for larger games!

After playing 2 campaigns vs the AI to learn the game, overall I am enjoying the experience which feels like a mix between supreme commander and sacrifice in just the right ways with the bonus of more jetpack dragons.

On the subject of the multiplayer campaigns, will the AI be able to use their own dragons? I feel that for 25 recruits it serves as a huge advantage in fighting against it, especially when both the healing and more importantly the damage aura's are learnt.

That said I feel that the large scale bonuses could be moved to higher tiers and the single targets down as apart from a select few units most will be seen en masse and as such the cost:power seems inveresed for dragon skills.

i love having a world map style on mutiplayer or AI Skirmish i love to see a few more unit type tho somthing with more personality

For the closed beta you could add some of the campaign, so some of the people that are new to this type of games can learn it easily.
Just finnished downloading but not planning testing it. Hate going directly into multiplayer without knowing the basics.

Screw this i'm launching it! :grinsam:

It'd be nice to be able to change your "race" (since it seems you can't when you create a MP game and it seems to be assigned to whichever slot a player joins in). Also, will races eventually have racially unique-looking units?

Edit: Oh, I see, after the new update that's our avatar picture. In that case, it'd be nice to be able to pick races :p

WORST part? not being able to remap the "Middle mouse button" for the camera. But i'm sure you'll be able to fix that soon.

Game is AWESOME. you can either decide to go "Macromanagement" and fly a dragon, or go into "micromanagement" to get some things done as in "RIGHT NOW". And all with a single keystroke.

Awesome concept, lovely graphics. Can't wait to see the singleplayer. I'm sure this and D:OS will be amongst my favourite (and most played) games.
Ok so after playing one game against my brother i can say i already like it alot. He had to stop playing now but i already feel the urge to play. The UI is really well done, easy. Nothing complicated about it.

I'm waiting for the singleplayer mode update.

Some things:
* There doesn't seem to be a way to rejoin a game if you disconnect (i.e. a grace period of some sort)
* The camera seems little weird--if you zoom out too far you can no longer scroll down with WASD but, weirdly, the middle mouse button scrolls up/down.

Also hoping for much bigger maps.
