Ammo cap

are there any mods that remove the ammo cap so i can just unload on everything? would kinda help considering that the new black metal difficulty on brutal doom is even harder especially with the reduced ammo capacity.

Use the IDFA cheat, to get full ammo without the keys?

Depending on the Source Port, or DEHACKED for the original game EXE, you could just jump into the code and lift the ammo limits.

There's a backpack 'object' in the game that lifts the ammo limits too, so I doubt going into the source code of a source port and changing it would be very hard at all.


I'm not sure what source port, if any, you're running so I can't comment beyond that at the moment.

Using command codes you can enable a server variable for infinite ammo, but it gets boring that way IMO. Nothing makes doom more boring than infinite BFG cells.
