Unable to register to Doomworld
I tried with 2 different emails. And it never sends the registration validation link. I can log in but not post. Even when i request Username and password the email never comes. I wanted to ask some help with finishing my custom wad... If anyone is a member in DoomWorld can he contact an moderator to activate user Doomdude89

Most the Doom community is dead.
If you play 'too well for your ping', even though ALL the modern Source Ports have lag compensation, etc., then you'll get banned so the 'leaders' of certain groups stay in the lead.

I'd be surprised if the admins even cared that much about it any more TBH.

Doomworld is cool,.... I am referencing another community that is almost purely European players.

I've gone ahead and made a post on Doomworld to see if they can find out why the activation e-mails aren't working. Doomworld is still active, maybe e-mail registration is just being weird right now. We'll see.

doom community is not dead. at every time at least hundred users are on doomworld forums. many old players started to play and map again. new players/mappers appear through brutal doom. sure the community is split into singleplayer or multiplayer and mods and source ports, but thats default in games. its the same in quake.

I informed a doomworld moderator about this thread. Whether he cares to resolve your issues or not is beyond me.

As for a good community. I am fond of the Odamex community. The reason I like it is because it is very small, and the people there value a good game of classic doom rather than kool modz that make d00m 1000x beter.

I dont like the reloading thing in Brutal Doom, it changes a lot of fast gameplay for me. In Doom just Run & Gun like the 80s Rambo
