Stuck on title screen

i bought doom 2 yesterday and it hasnt been working it will just stay on the title screen and wont do anything. any advice?

Download this:
- http://sourceforge.net/projects/dooms-19-winx64/

Then copy DOOM2.WAD to the .\PrBoom folder which is usually at:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Doom 2\base\DOOM2.WAD"

I've even added an [Open Folder] button to make it easier.

I'm having the same problem, but on DOOM 1, will that fix it also?

Yes, just copy DOOM.WAD instead of DOOM2.WAD into the PrBoom folder.

prboom isnt very good it changes the way the game looks which is annoying in my opinion, i suggest you get gzdoom as it keeps the original look but makes it 1080p
