I have difficulty with WASD controls; is keyboard remapping a planned feature?

I don't know how to do anything in this game... I can walk around and move with WASD/Right Click but I can't pick anything up... I have tried E and Left Click but it does nothing on the things the Lady Frog wants me to get.

Q: How can I restore health? Q: I have all the material to build a cooking station but cannot. Errors: * I have issues loading save files at times. I suspect there are too many objects on the floor. * Hunger meter would make more sense if it showed how much food is in your belly. The other too meters are Full = good. Hunter empty = good is contradictory....

The brown skinned enemies with the monocles that move in a horde keep killing me early game...can't figure out how to get past them and it's roadblocking me, any advice?

Still figuring out how to use the shovel, am very confused!
