Full campaign Coop - Yes, but afaik only if the host has all the levels (you want to play) already unlocked.

Special Coop modes - very much, yes, several, in fact, most are great fun and intense, also bot support, to a point. Again, not 100%, but I think you need at least one player per side.

Negative: (purely my opinion)
Lazy console port, can have problems getting things set up right (read FAQs and guides for those), especially since GFWL shutdown and migration to Steamworks - more like thrown into SW. You can't rename your own color schemes (no biggie), you are seriously limited space-wise with replay recording (in game numbers are not correct by far), controls can be a ♥♥♥♥♥ to get right (unless using Xbox controller or emulated setup, or suported flightstick - on that one, no idea) - And finally, the worst bit:
Since Steamworks, VoIP is always on, leading to incredibly annoying sessions with raging/screaming kids, people not noticing and blasting horrible music in the background, you get the idea. Only way around that I know of, turn off the Voices in the sound menu - THis kils all NPC voices as well, but is much better than the alternative.

Best scenario - Talk with your potential partners beforehand (so they STFU and only communicate when needed), and/or at best have on/off switchable headsets.

Final verdict: Worth it just for coop?
Depends if you want to put up with the above - If you can get past that, it's a solid arcadey jet fighting game I had loads of fun with, both single player, coop and online.

Also edited a bit to be more understandable/more clear. No problem, hapy to help, but keep in mind that it is more or less just my experience - Others may have a few points to disagree.
I wouldn't think so, but you never know, right? ;)
