Yes I find the game fun. It is old school RPG so you need to micromanage you inventory and some quests are not easy to find or complete. I did find one major bug if you have the gore feature unchecked there is a bug turning your party into werewolves. I fixed it with shadowkeeper EE. I played around with shadowkeeper and I noticed you can add containers for various items. I would recommend doing this as it will make them game have much less inventory management. I would also use the custom scripts to run your party AI and make sure you pause combat as needed.

So far so good. Only thing I really did NOT like is the comix-style remake of the cutscenes (intro video etc.)

I actually enjoy the comic style video's over the oldearly CG Videos

I am 20+ hours into the EE edition and am enjoying it a lot. I have played BG and its sequel many times, including when they were first released and later on with heavy modification. I like the EE because I didn't have to mess around with any mods and could jump right into the game. I like the comic style of videos, not because they are better but because they are different and well done. The EE also has three new companions which are very well done imo.

So yeah, I like it, no bugs for me so far.

It is broken but it is also enjoyable, especially when you play on multiplayer and have a voice chat on (idk about others but I had to use hamachi to make this work). Basically, if you played the original version and liked it, you'll also like the enhanced one; they aren't that different. If you ask me, I also like the comic style videos. Those were a nice surprise.

Was a good game then, it shows it's age a bit in some areas that have been... simplified one might call it. It might not be for those who have had modern games spoonfed to them though with autosaving in increments and all items clearly marked on a minimap.

Yep, enjoying this version, however I still have to mod it slightly.

No longer having an unlimited algernon's cloak!? Yes was over powered for battles, but I never used it for them anyway, only on various npcs for extra flavour text :D
I enjoyed it a lot !

I just found that cloak for the first time! Was a bit disappointed to hear it'd been toned down.

Easily fixed if you have the original game, can move the item file into the overrite folder and works like a charm.

Can easily email to anyone that wants it.

You can find good details on mods here:

Personally I'm happy just with various rule changes from the gibberlings three BG2 Tweak Pack.

It's all personal preference.
