are there people without major problems ???
I would like to know, since people usually go on the forum to burn the game, if there are alot of people that have none trouble whatsoever ??? or minor bugs, but not gamebreaking ???

I would really love to buy this, but all the omfg ripoff threads are kinda heavily represented... .....

so i would like to hear people that enjoy playing this, and have only minor bugs plz.... :3

i have put 73 hours into it, am having a blast and have had only a couple super minor issues.

it seems from forums most of the major issues are with multi-player

i think the game is more fun playing single player personally

I bought this game back when it came originally when it came out back in 98. I have owned every baldur's gate title that has come out since then including the icewind dales. I do have to say I am impressed with the enhanced edition and have not had a problem with it in the few hours I have played so far.

I played through BG:EE successfully, and though there were some minor issues I encountered, I didn't have any game-breaking problems.

played 26 hours had only 1 problem. Ws unable to recruit Neera after i rejected her to join me when i first met her. All i had to do was reload to a previous save and it worked.

Wasnt that just cuz she was mad ??? i know of the old baldurs gates, that i ruined alot of playthroughs, or made it more harder for me, just by giving the wrong answers to npc. and i always pissed them off ......

But its nice to hear alot of people hav no major problems at all, this sections needs more threads like this :D

I played the original BG as well as all the releases thereafter. This game plays pretty much exactly as I remember. I have only one issue and that is I managed somehow to overburden one of the NPC and could not for the life of me unburden them, of course this was a problem since they were in my party, and, I had given that NPS really nice kit. All I was doing was swapping kit round and somewhere I managed to give the NPC a sword or something whicvh then caused the over burden. I was stuffed. I had to release that NPC from my group. Other than that, I have not experienced any issues surrounding the overall general play.
My recommendation is just buy the game and play it.

did you have a cursed item that lowered your strength accidentally equipped? or a disease?

No major problems. Couple slight annoyances, but they've prolly been fixed since the patch.

Guilty! But as in ancient greek saying: Πάταξον μεν, άκουσον δε! (Themistocles: So hit me, but listen)
So I listened. You may bump to some problems, depending on your PC setup like I did.
But there is an amazing good support on the developers web-site, if any such issue occur for you and you can be 100% sure they will help.

This game is a refreshing 'old school' game that I have enjoyed sinced installing it. I have had no probs at all so far!
Diggergig Feb 7, 2013 @ 8:36am
No probs here, but I haven't tried multiplayer.

i am sure everyone's playstyle is different, but for me personally i like to use weaker characters... for example i am currently playing through it on a dart tossing gnome illusionist

and for me that means in combat i am a pausing machine because my party is usually caster heavy and thus pretty squishy and i would rather not pay to resurect anyone...

i would think it would be annoying multi player cuz you would have to wait on everyone else to do the pause thing as well...

i have never actually tried it though so who knows.

i can't even remember. the last time i went though the game before buying this version of it was 14 years ago. did the original even have multi player?
POST- track #2 Feb 8, 2013 @ 10:19am
I can't even launch the damn game...
