Changing the music.

It appears that the Steam release of the DOOM games running off DOSBox seem to be configured in such a way that they utilize the Sound Blaster emulation in order to play the in-game music. Personally, I think the General MIDI sounds far better than this, so I was wondering if there was any way to change the configuration of the games to use it.

Install zandronum zdoom or one of the many mods that allow for better comparability and setting change.

I personally use zandronum with brutal doom. You can change the sound in many different ways along with the graphics etc.
