No sound when using Brutal Doom

I bought the doom games from steam, downloaded Brutal Doom version 19 and GZDoom. Then put them in their own directory. I drag and drop the pk3 over Brutal Doom and it starts fine. When in game there are no sound effects but you can hear the classic synth soundtrack. On loading up the game it says couldn't start fmodex.dll. Anyone have this problem?

Try reinstalling GZDoom, make sure you have the latest version.

Hey thanks, Arcade Goon! I actually figured it out and didn't have my fmodex.ll file in the same directory as GZDoom. Brutal Doom is awesome!!!

Sorry if I'm being stupid but how did you get the fmodex.dll (sorry if you don't remember)

As far as I remember it should come with the download of brutal doom.

I do have it in the same folder as GZDoom but its still not working. Any suggestions?
