It will, but you need to edit some files to work

Works on Win 10 perfectly using dosBox which is how it launches when purchesed from Steam. You can mod config files that come with the download if you want to take advantage of some modern tech. Or you can use a source port for more effect like that. I just play it stock as it comes; its how I want it. If you decide to play with classic controls on your Windows machine like I do, do note that an Alt+Ctrl+direction (Doom Guy strafe + fire) combo will flip your screen and break the game. So, if you want to play with classic controls you will need to disable this screen orientation key function in one of your Windows control panel options. Took me forever to figure out what was going on, but its just a Windows key function. This game is beautiful after that on Win 10.

Hasn't been updated since it was out up on Steam I think. I'm kinda surprised they've not released a version with a sourceport attached.

i remember having hours of fun on this back in the days of DOS.

On Windows 64bits however, its a whole other ball game. 1st The game's old dos style verbose screen takes 2 minutes to load, then the doom guy background stays on indefinetly, no menu, nothing. Finaly have to alt+tab 3 minutes after launching the game to get back to windows.

Same for 2nd time.

The 3rd time i launched it, i pressed alt+enter and it went to windowed mode, that actually loaded much faster and showed the game demo and menu. it's not permanent but i got it to work that way.

4th time same as 1st and 2nd times, nothing.
