More exactly, this old version is: 0.0.3.c7bc. It just allow to build a castle, no attacks. The game save is working. Bricktrons freeze time to time (save/load game sounds to fix it) and there is many pathfinding bugs. There is also several UI usability issues, it is probably useless to mention them, there are maybe fixed in the most recent version of the game.
The login/passwd can be ignored, there is nowhere to register.
Resolution can be changed in $HOME/.config/unity3d/Sauropod Studio/Castle Story/prefs
Unfortunely, I did not find how to change key bindings.
BTW, I am happy to support both Steam and a game from a small company with an original idea on Linux. I am sure this game will be better in the future.
The rest clear? No Directx dependencies etc? Just kidding, keep up the good work ;).
MAL, all the info is right in the top post. Please read the opening post of a thread before responding to it. You would have found that registration isn't needed.
Hang on for the moment, they're working hard at it, but there still isn't a current Linux release, it's still the old prototype.
