Immersion?
I couldn't find many videos of this game, spart from early alphas, and since there is no demo, I'll ask.

It appears the game takes place inside a computer (tron-like) and you're an antivirus agent. But from the videos, apart from starting area, it sims you just fly throught series of tunnels...... that can be from descent or miner wars 2081.

What I ask is this, does the game mantain the feeling that you're inside a computer, and not in some Alien-infested mines (apart from the intro and starting location)? If so, how exactly?

I checked out a few of his videos and I have this to ask of the players. After you leave desktop area, let's say 5 to 10 minutes after that, do you know whee exactly are you supposed to be? Are you in the hard drive? Some specific folder? CPU? RAM? Or parhaps you don't really care?

Maybe I am missing something?

You start off in the desktop, then move to the email client, which is like a factory meets a routing station. From the email client you head to the browser. From there I don't want to give away anymore but we are taking more a software approach on environments as opposed to hardware.

Hope this helps!

Don't get too hung up on the story scenario: Retrovirus is about the GAMEPLAY and enjoying some retro-style combat in a 6DOF environment. You do see many "parts" of a PC interpreted by the Cadenza team, but the story is just a way to introduce you to blowing things up with extreme prejudice.

I figured. It's just that since Tron 2.0 there wasn't any game of "inside the computer" ganre......that I know of.....on PC......so I thought Retrovirus will "scratch that itch" ........and it does to a degree, but I was hoping for a bit more "in depth" computer theme.

Don't get me wrong, this is a great game especially for descent fans, and I'm enjoying it too.
