D3D9 Device Failed

I keep getting a message about a D3D9 device failing to intitiate. I know my Direct X is up to date, so it has to be a resolution issue... problem is, I cannot find the config .ini file so that I can manually set the resolution to match my 'native resolution'. I can find instrucitions for other games, I.E. APB Reloaded, which, amusingly enough, I do play and have no issue with, giving me, again, the idea that this is a resolution issue.

Anyone out there know where the config .ini file is? (HINT: It's not in documents, I already looked.)

D3D9 has to do with DirectX, which is crucial for any engine. When D3D9 is missing usually something has gone wrong with installing DirectX.

Ok. I have redownloaded the game, I have run a multitude of other games with absolutely no issue. but every time i try to run THIS game I get the D3D9 error. So... Direct X is NOT my problem, the problem is with this game specifically. So, does ANYONE know where I can find the bloody config .ini file so I can edit the bloody thing to match my bloody resolution so I can bloody play the bloody game..... PLEASE.

There's no point fixing it as Firefall is now 99.999% certain to be dead and not coming back.

Start the mourning process like the rest of us. :(
