Dragons Lair keeps stopping working randomly... Help

I just joined Steam here yesterday, and Dragons Lair is the first game I have bought so far and it keeps crashing at random times.

I have clicked on properties and tried running it under all the different compatible with operating systems.

Still crashes randomly.

I then started highlighting the .exe file for Dragon's Lair and selecting run as administrator, I played it about 30 minutes last night without any crashed, but I just went to play it a few minutes ago and it's right back to crashing randomly again, even when I run as administrator.

I am using Windows 8.1

Any advice on what if anything I can do to fix this?
