We definitely were on Greenlight - under the software tab there.
We haven't planted anyone here, but we have a pretty rabid (I mean that in a nice way) fanbase. You tend to get those when you help people get their finances (and lives) under control.
You don't have to purchase this, it's not going to be in your Steam client, it will be in the store, along with the thousands of other games and apps that you have no interest in.
You can just ignore it if you don't want it :)
(Or you can check out the demo if you want - we also have a non-Steam version available on our website if you don't want to clog up your steam list)
thats stupid in my opinion .. Why would anyone want to pay more for it than its worth?
It's $60 US outside Steam, and $45 on Steam right now...
Youre a joke.
Verify this.
I'm pleased Valve is offering this kind of support and hope they expand, although they do need a filter option for people, the same as with DLC.
Goodness knows I could use something like this, but at the moment I can't fit "You Need a Budget" into my current budget. :P
This software could be useful for those people to plan their budget correctly.
Now people can buy their beloved games in the future, because of this software ;)
I don't see why this software should not be on steam?
It could be very useful. - like Dr Gero said, especially for Indie Developers
(I realise it may be slightly higher than $60US, but currencies fluctuate, so it's not massively over, and some days it may be under)
Frankly sir,
Your software has no place on Steam. We're gamers not accountants, and steam is for computer games not accounting software.
I don't know what kind of deal you made to get it on here, but frankly this is the stupidest thing I've seen on Steam to date. I seriously doubt that your going to get a good return on investment , But its your funeral so you do what you like.
