The app is $4.99, and I hear it is crucial

I just bought the software. and I just started step one. I personally chose this over mint.com despite being recommended mint.com simply because I want a solution that doesn't have ads and doesn't integrate with my bank account. (god knows I need more ads in my life)

With that said, I can already see the tedium in adding transactions.
I cannot see how else I can make adding transactions more convenient for me on day to day stand point. I suppose I can export out my bank statements in QFX files, but do you have any other suggestions for me? I am leaning toward the app, but I wanted to see what you had in this regard

There's a free basic version of the app, maybe try it first before spending the $5?

Hi trickpixel, we're looking into getting a free Android app out, but I don't have a timeframe for it at the moment. You don't *need* the app - I don't run it myself (my wife has the Android app, but I have a crappy old Nokia phone). Feel free to give it a try first, then see if you need the app - or hopefully we'll have the free one out by then!

My decision to go with YNAB continues to prove itself to be not only the right choice, but the best choice. I love how you guys are active on these Steam forums, I love how responsive you guys are. You didn't have to make the app free, but you did, and for that I truly thank you for being client focused. A good product is one thing, but service is what retains clients, so thank you again.

Dang, son. I just bought the app the other day. Oh well, I got the main app on sale so it was totally worth it.

I'm sorry about that - there's no point where we could make it free where *someone* wouldn't get dinged. At least you caught the app on sale, hopefully that makes up for it!
