Compare feature

I'm using this program for 2 years now and it's a nice program that helped me save alot of money. Maybe it's a nice idea to make some compare feature, to compare years with eachother so you can see on what category/payee you saved the most money on.

Maybe, but YNAB is more about present and future than looking at the past.

You can always export the report data for the years and use Excel to compare it.

You know what works great. Microsoft Money (the old version when they still made it). With that you can look at the past, future foreceast spending, recurrent billing, etc...

Which brings me to this program. Do you need persistent internet connection or is this program locally installed and run on your computer. Basically, can you run this program without a need to connect / store any of your information in the cloud or server?

Yes, you can run YNAB offline if you want to. What you'll miss out on is the easy syncing between devices/computers.
