SERIOUSLY overpriced
For a simple windows utility... I would pay no more than a couple of quid. This is rediculous.

I jokingly call this a PC tax. (It's built into OSX and other *nix distros.)

These types of features are built into windows/other distros not to mention if you use Nvidia cards you can select from a number of options on how to deal with dual or tri monitors. Waste of money on this product.

The pricing for this is stupid..
The regular price through steam is $29.95 with the discount it comes down to $22 somthing.
Go to Display Fusion's website and but it there for $25 straight up.
So in essence you can buy it as cheap without Steam forcing itself to run for this program to run.

Imange if you don't have a internet connection and Steam dosen't let Display Fusion run.

The $25 license on our site only allows for installation on a single machine, whereas the Steam license can be used on any machine that you primarily use, and use Steam on. Steam is required for the installation, but does not need to be running or online in order to use DisplayFusion after it's installed.

Then don't buy it. I don't understand why people get so up in arms about this. I've used DisplayFusion for a while and it's quite a polished piece of software. Yes, there are free solutions. I've tried them, but ultimately I kept coming back to the conveinence and stability of DisplayFusion.

These types of features are actually NOT built into Windows, as you would know if you've ever used dual monitors. While I do believe the taskbar can be extended across multiple monitors, it will show ALL windows across all of your monitors. DisplayFusion allows for independent taskbars for each monitor. It also has extremely extensive customization options. Windows 7 did bring many new window management functions and wallpaper management options that did indeed make many features in DisplayFusion a bit redundant, but nonetheless they still offer their own advantages over Windows' default.

People are acting like they've somehow gotten ripped off, like this is a repeat of WarZ or something. Again, if you don't want it, don't buy it. There is no false advertising or bad business practices here.

Of course this product is a "waste of money" for someone who has no use of it. But that's like telling somebody that strawberry ice cream is a waste of money just because you don't like it.

As someone with three monitors and a TV attached to their computer, I can tell you that this program is capable of a level of organization that the NVidia software was not able to produce. Pricey for sure, but if you have a need for what this provides, rest assured it will solve your problem.

It's one of those utillity programs that you will have a use for with applications OTHER than STEAM... So.. WHY buy it for STEAM when you can get the base program for LIFE FOR FREE and get the 30 day free trial for the PRO version to see if you even need to go with the PRO version at all... First and foremost... Check out the developer's website.. Compare the features and pricing.... Think of how much you really need what features and go from there.. Don't ever impulse buy any type of computer utillity program! Learn before you leap.. I went with the NON-STEAM FREE LIFETIME LICENSED VERSION with the 30 day free trial for the PRO version. If it blows my mind I will post an update from my experience with it.. If it doesn't.. Oh well.. No lost $$$..

No its not like saying strawberry ice cream is a waste of moeny because one doesnt like it, did you ever hear someone say such a thing ? ever?

I would think saying its a waste of money when only owning one screen sounds a bit more reasonable.

Nvidia wasnt able to produce? Well they are in the business of hardware for the most part and software that supports it, you act as if Nvidia made an attemtp to or is not capable ..

For someone who has 4 monitors and many accessories and a tv connected to my pc ( i can live stream my set up right now , just saying ) i can definately see how this software could make daily tasks or multitasking alot easier but then again many are discussing the price point not the functioning aspects and imo the pirice is a bit high but thats just my useless opinion.

please dont say this is the price of a few happy meals because we as humans need food to survive.

I have 3 monitors, dual monitors were not enough for my work. When I purchased my Nvidia card it came with a whole toolset of options, much of them are included with this particular piece of software. I'm not sure what OS your using, but yes many of these features are included also with Windows 7 Ultimate x64/along with just about every other linux distro that's worth a damn. Do I need this? no just expressing an opinion on an un-needed and overpriced piece of software.

Wowsers. Didn't mean to start an argument...

I just think it is over-priced. A useful utility that would sell ALOT more if it was £4-5.

It's priced at about 40% the price of Windows Home. I really don't think you can justify that by telling people they don't understand.

I used to use this app, and ones like it because the multi-mon support in Win7 is lacking. While it's not a complete feature parity with the app, using Windows 8 now I don't need to use these apps to have decent multi-mon support.

Going on my time with the app in the past, I value it at around $15 on the top end. That's how much it was worth to me at least. It's hard to justify 'worthy' value on what are essential back end utilities that provide functions that aren't actively used (like a game, or some productivity app). Even if what they provide is just as valid.
