Why can't be played Offline?

Trying to play this offline, after the loading screen I get an endless "Waiting for Steam Initialization" dialog box that never goes away and only lets me to quit the game.

Wait, no Steam love hearts or jerated censor? Oh mai. Anyway, I'm glad you're working on an offline fix. No offline play privileges is taking Steam DRM too far imo.

Still no fix for Offline play.

It's being fixed as we speak, but I have no time frame for the release of the patch.

Should be out during the summer sometime. Could be a couple of weeks, might be a month, not 100% sure on the exact time frame.

Yeah, same problem for me. Just moved house and I was planning on completing this game while I waited for the internet connection to be installed. Wasn't best impressed when I found I couldn't load it.

There is a little trick, if you can tether your phone for 2 seconds to let the game load online, then just pull the plug, it will continue in offline.

Having to tether for most of my games now, couldn't surivive without internet in the end, just I'd made sure I had a load of games installed and ready, and was quite looking forward to that one! Will try it though, see if it works :)

i am online with steam . the game load and i click "escape" to pass through video of the beginning i already see and i hae the famous "wait for steam ... bla bla " and nothing happend .

if you have correct it just send the patch !! through steam it will come quick to my house !!

You're online and you're getting an initialize error? Did you alt-tab out of the load screen before the intro video?
