Demo please?

I most definitely have an interest in what Totalbiscuit called (with good reason) the most Canadian game ever made, but my desktop is rather crapshoot when it comes to actually running stuff outside of games with system requirements similar to DOS titles. Is it possible for you guys to release a demo so I can see whether or not I can run this?

Sorry no demo at the moment, and I wouldn't recommend playing the game with a track pad, would be pretty hard.

Man...how many good PC games are out there you can even enjoy without a mouse? The ones you can are ones with joystick support.

I don't skip every game that uses a mouse and I do use the trackpad obviously. I have a 167 games in my steam library and have played about half of them plus many demos so I don't feel I'm missing too much. My situation (damaged spine) doesn't really let me use desktop computers or a laptop with mouse so it does bug me when a game I'm really interested in doesn't support a controller or come with a demo. I have Xpadder but it doesn't work with some games or at least not well enough for me to feel comfortable. Even a very short demo would allow me to see if I can make due with the default or xpadder controls.

I agree..i'm pretty sure i will buy this game but I would love to have a demo available just to make sure i want it. :) i'll hold off until august if you think a demo will be available then. Looks like a great game!

Ok I'll throw some incite I bought the game..uhm a few days after it's release (I saw the trailer and oddly got excited)

Before I continue I find tower defense games to be incredibly boring grindfests. That said calling this a tower defense game is a very loose interpretation of the word. It's more so a plan each wave and know where you have to be etc. than a mass a bunch of things and afk til the day is over.

The story (minor spoilers) is pretty much 2 brothers and a possessed or something sister with a town who hates them, but it's suprisingly well done.

As far as replay value goes I played as Jack (hard) first so I don't feel a reason to play it again but you can play in two very different ways (I opted to be more "in character" and since it said in his bio he is good with traps I tried using them almost exclusively early at least)..but spoiler here (there is a certain day/stage where you can completely cheat it from the day before) traps that cost money don't disappear between days (which is nice it is always great to have mistimed something or something went wrong and you are in a bad place trying to figure something out only to realize you had a spare trap from the day before that can help) But then again it is very possible to play the game more focused on fighting (granted you can't 1 man army)

really just watch a game play trailer (I'm pretty sure they have 1 day posted on the site) if it looks like something you will enjoy, you will enjoy it, if not then well I'd do more research or jsut accept that you probably wont)

Though I do have 1 minor complaint..the end "Boss" can be deceptively "cheesed" by using a tactic the story clearly suggests shouldn't work

**SPOILER** the invisible beast is not immune to other weapons, so it is entirely possible to ballista him
