But thanks anyway! :)
You are saying, that you have no issue with combat. Great, that is the most important thing. This game is all about delaying the right enemies at the right time, not so much about killing them with traps, at least in the first 2/3.
I don't know how far you are but bait and firewalls are your best friends. One suggestion i'd make is to pick the skill that makes wisps afraid of the walls too.
Would be cool, if you could tell me, what mission is difficult for you and i'll explain what i do and why. Maybe that will help you? :) lets give it a shot
Regarding the "i want to shoot the net and they attack me" can mean multiple things.
- they ate the bait up and continued down their path
- you got to close. The green circle around your character is the trigger zone. if it touches the enemies, they will attack you
- your scent might have attracted them. Wind direction determines in what direction your "stink" goes :) It is indicated by a green cone - again, if they enter it, enemies attack.
Remember aswell, that a blessed axe (in the convent) does extra damage to werewolves
Plus, i didnt know that you could bless the axe. That was the biggest pain, if i missed the net-trap and had to fight a werewolf at full health with just the axe.
Again thanks for all the tips :)
If your having trouble with day 3, try day 1-2 again to improve effiency and place traps/nets/stuff before you actually need them. (is this just me?)
You are making a valid point, but i think, if you have to resort to that tactic, you have to be rather inefficient with AP. Ofcourse, if that gets you further, who am i to tell you to stop but something tells me, that you will then hit a wall later in the game, where this is not viable anymore. Did you rely on this frequently? Did you finish the game like that? Did you play on hard? Because i havent tried it yet but there might be scenarios, where you have to rely on what you suggest.
2/3 of my actionpoints went unused on every map, so why would i have trouble to place them as needed, rather than the previous day, you know what i mean?
My point being is that if you can survive the past night easily then by redoing the 2nd previous night (setting traps needed for that and the next) greatly improves cash reserves.
I dont know how you conclude, that you save money or AP this way. The costs are fixed and there is absolutely no gain over doing it the way you discribe O_o Whether you place a wolftrap on day one or day 3, it has been payed for at some point. Even argueing with AP is problematic, because excess AP are converted to money at the start of a night, so unless you have no lumbering upgrade, there seems close to no gain.
Oh and i just noticed, you stated, that you can place nets and they would carry over to the next day, this is wrong.
haha, havent played the last 1-2 weeks and still got the last day to tackle. Looks like you finished before me afterall :D Did you manage to save your brother without hurting him? I did not come up with a good solution yet.
