I think the trick to this game is that it's very much a "use the right tool for the job" kind of game instead of a "use your favourite toy" game. Not that there aren't multiple approaches, there definitely are. But there are certain things that just work best in certain situations and the hard part is learning to manage that in your planning. Like, the Windingos just shredded me at first until you work out which trap is best to tame them down a bit. And you have to be really careful on the pre-magic axe waves where there are Werewolves and Maikans both in terms of your trap setting.
Good game. Really enjoyable. Definitely going to come back to it and try it again with the weaker brother, which I'm sure is going to be a serious challenge.
