Sound Issue

Hey, I am having some issues with sound not happening correctly (I think). basically I am using a 5.1 surround system but only getting sound out of my center speaker, and usually never hear battle sounds when my army is fighting. I can hear the annoying announcer guy and various other sound effects / music, but no battle sounds. Is this a known issue? Maybe the battle sounds haven't been fully hammered out? Thanks for any advice! :D

Only using 2.1 and headphones and it works fine. You might check sounds, speaker, advanced and make suer 5.1 is selected in windows control panel.

Souds like a sound driver issue or a sound setting on your desktop. Did you get it working? Let me know.

Add1CT - I checked with our programers, and it doesn`t look like the game was optimized for the use with 5.1. Sorry.

If you use normal dual speakers + sbw it works great - with all the battle sounds. There is a chance that playing with your 5.1 system sound settings, or upgrading drivers, MIGHT (but no garantees) fix it.

Sorry I've been away from my computer for a few days. Yea, once I changed it to my normal speakers it worked fine. Oh well, the 5.1 was just what was plugged in :)
