Ship copies

Every ship I flew that I made in earlier versions create a copy of the ship in the list. I looked at the KV save files, but no such copies exist. Why is that happening?

For me they're saving to '..\Steam\userdata\#\227160\remote' now, not the savefiles folder like before.
