Update v1.3 for Age of Wonder III
Hi everybody,

We are currently hard at work on an expansion and a big free update to accompany it. To address some of the critical issues that were reported in the meantime we have also prepared a smaller intermediate patch. As usual we are offering this as an open beta. If the open beta is successful we’ll roll it out to all players soon.

Patch Notes:
  • Fixed multiplayer black screen bug
  • UI glitches for very high – larger than 2560×1600 – resolutions should no longer occur. Not all resolutions were tested, please report if you still have this issue.
  • Fixed issue where cities couldn’t grow to max size on slowest speed setting
  • Fixed wild hunt spell so it properly applies to new units and can be disjuncted
  • Fixed an issue where the AI could disjunct hidden combat properties
  • Fixed AI disjuncting spells put up by its allies in tactical combat
  • Implemented AI performance optimizations and reduced wait time to perform actions for the player
  • Reduced time to make a save file by 50%, which speeds up starting a next turn when auto save is enabled
  • Fix for rare crash when clicking on ‘done’ button on stack screen
  • Fixed crash where player(side) id was different from the player’s index in the turnmanager list

How to switch to the v1.3 beta Patch:
  • Right Click 'Age of Wonders 3' in your Steam Library and select 'Properties' from the menu that appears.
  • Select the 'BETAS' tab in the 'Properties' window.
  • Set the combobox to ‘patch_v1.300_beta'.
  • Close the 'Properties' window.

the top most combobox is a 4th of july patch btw...

Can we get the UI fixed so it doesn't get shrunk down when downsampling at 3840x2160?

Also can we get a way to disable the Launcher, it should be enough that I purchased it via Steam in regards to DRM meassures.

Not sure what you are referring too Aexreal.

I realize it's a siginificantly unimportant issue, but it happens when using GeDoSaTo[blog.metaclassofnil.com] to downsample Age of Wonders 3 from 3840x2160 to 1920x1080.
http://imgur.com/a/kBKFn#0 the UI is downsampled as well and shrinks to unusuable levels.

Did you get that bug where there was no animation or sound of mounted ranged units when attacking?

We've fixed some issues with missing sound which have been fixed in the big patch after this one. I'll need more details to tell you if your specific issue has been fixed.
