Tought I would scrap together some questions some of you might have.

Q: Is this game worth buying?
A: Yes! Click the link if you want to try out their prototype from 2010;

Q: Special Edition?
A: "Special Edition bonus content: Commemorative building for your Kingdom, extra challenge quests and a unique character class. Just to say thank you to those willing to support us.

Q: What about the DLC?
A: The DLC is only there so you can upgrade from Standard Edition to Special Edition. :)
If you don't want the soundtrack, you can save a tiny bit of money by buying Standard Edition and just adding the Goatperson DLC, this will give you all the gameplay Special Edition has. But you will miss out on that sweet sweet music! :(

Q: When I hit Alt-Enter to go fullscreen, everything stretches.
A: Go to the in-game menu and select Fullscreen there, it'll add borders to keep the aspect ratio.

Q: Where's the Quit button when fullscreen?
A: Seems Alt+F4 or closing the window when windowed mode, is the only way to quit right now. A proper quit button will be added in an upcoming patch.

Q: When I launch the game, it only has a login/pass screen. (Possible Win 8 issue)
A: Click 'Play Now' via the game's Store page. Devs are aware of issue and working on it.

Q: Is there a wiki for this game?
A: Yes, it's on the dev's website. WARNING: Figuring out how to use glyphs, classes etc. is part of the fun. Don't just look everything up.

Q: How to play without the mouse?
A: Default Keybinding;
Move - Arrowkey, you can move diagonal by pressing two at the same time
Target - Move towards enemy with arrowkey, this wont make you attack
Pickup item - Stand on it + Spacebar, do not have an enemy targeted
Pass on dialogs - Spacebar
Normal attack - Target + Spacebar
Fireball - Target + F
Weytwut - Target + T
Wonafyt - S
Lemmisi - L
Getindare - G
Endiswal - E + Mouseclick
Healthpotion - P
Manapotion - M
Convert item - Drag with mouse to "Convert Icon"
(I don't think you can navigate yourself outside a dungeon with keyboard)

That is quite the oversight. I won't hate the game for not having an exit button (or resolution options), but that should be a given in a full fledged release.

There is no text for the "enlightenment" power when you mouse over it unlike every other hero/class attribute.

Apparently, Desktop Dungeons works with Steam in Wine for Linux. A proper Linux version is planned, as far as I know.

Is there a list of kayboard controls somewhere? Searched both here and on the wiki, can't find anything. I'm specifically wondering what key converts an item when I'm standing over it, and what key picks up an item when I'm standing over it.

Spacebar generally triggers the tile that you stand on, picking up glyphs, reading messages, or using exits/entrances depending on what is below you.

Numbers 1-6 trigger each invetory slot, and each glyph has a special key assigned to them also .
You can use Shift to assign new Hotkeys on glyphs as far as I know, though I don't think they stay permanent.
Don't think there's a conversion button... not sure though.

If I already have a kingdom named x on my online account from the beta, and make a new kingdom in the steam version, what happens if I connect to the cloud? I'd rather not lose either kingdom's progress.

@Prezombie: You'll be given a prompt as to which one to keep if the game can't decide which is further along in progression. I suggest you go into the game's folder in your Steam directory, search for your saved games and rename your local file to something different.

Thanks for having this scenario already planed for!

I would suggest making it possible to rename your kingdoms from the edit your kingdom page. That way you could put a suffix on the end of conflicting kingdoms.
