Why no co-op function

I don't get it Team 17, I'v been playing worms since the first one. Loved Duking it out with my friends with bots and having a good time putting us at a handicap and fighting a super team. it was a great challenge and really fun.

Now I don't understand why we can't have bots in a multiplayer online game. is there any worms game that allows for multiplayer co-op if so what one so I can go buy it..

worms is an amazing game but I don't just want to keep destroying my friends over and over again. I need me some teamwork. I want to enhance my friendships not destroy them by shoving my buddies off a cliff with a little prod :D lol.

In seriousness fix multiplayer co-op plz. that should be priority numero uno for any and all worms games.

It's not in any of the Worms games as far as I know.

yeah I kno, I'm refering to the fun I had playing beside my friend on the same computer. I'm sure I'm not the only one that wishs to have the classic feel with todays age's internet. Most people myself included friends move away or off to college and what have you. I love worms, great game and full of nostalgia for me.

Can't you set up two teams controlled by you and just switch controllers back and forth?
