We should start a VPN community for Sacred 2.

A VPN would enable us all to play online via a virtual LAN, through the LAN option ingame.
As the original closed & open servers are all down, this would be our only alternative for online play left.

Hamachi could work, but it doesn't support many people, so perhaps OpenVPN?
I'd put one up, but the police currently have two of my servers.

Could be related. My friends and Us try to play with hamachi but it doesnt show any Server. Does somebody know what we are doing wrong? I think the Ports are open..

I wrote that guide, and yes, it works flawlessly. But there is no Sacred 2 community that I know of so far. Maybe it is time to start one ! :)

Evovle seems great if you already know the guys you want to play with,Tunngle offers a more "drop in-drop out" solution with random strangers.Both useful

Evolve might not be a viable option, if you have to add everyone you want to play with to friends. As where Tunngle offers a kind of a lobby of players who are already there.

Although, I would like a commercial free VPN service.. Tunngle really is packed.. I mean 3 ad banners in just the program? <.<
