there dosn't seem to be a pattern to when you can select new skills. i just hit L15 and i'm wondering when i can select the next one. and the one after that, and so on

okay thanks, that helps out a lot actually... i don't really see a repeating pattern in there at all though. kinda hard to remember something like that

It roughly is a sequence where the difference continues to increase. The differences are 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 10, 15, and 15. Initially, the increases are constant but increase a bit to keep you from getting skills early. They seem to also just largely use numbers that seem "good" and avoid weird numbers (such as primes like 17).

I've been playing this game for a while, before it came to Steam. There used to be a wiki site that had all of this information, lets see how much I remember. Skills are selected at 2, 3, 5, 8, 12, 18, 25, 35, 50, and 65; 1-49 you get 1 point for attributes, 50-149 you get 2, 150 and up you get 3; 1-4 you get 1 skill point, 5-11 you get 2, 12-24 you get 3, 25-49 you get 4, 50 and up you get 5. Total of 899 points for skills and 396 for attributes
