PhysX Stability?

I have the retail version of Sacred 2 but have always had stability issues, even with PhysX disabled. The game seemed to crash even more when PhysX was enabled. Can anyone that is using PhysX comment on the game stability?

I got the gold version on steam and i have PHYSX On to the MAX and i have no problems. I use the latest NVida drivers though.

only those with a nividia card can use the physx, as i have the 7750 and i lagged with it on so i turned it off but you still need the latest physx installed if you using radeon

Thanks for the feedback. I do have an nvidia card and the performance was fine on the retail version, just stability being the issue. I've always wanted to get more into this game but got put off by the constant CTDs

No issues from me, everything maxed and running just fine and fps is just fine too.

even my retail copy was fine when i had that installed lol.

With Physx enabled, I notice I start to lag after about an hour. I'm using a single GeForce 1GB 9800 GT. Game still looks great without it.

That is mostly due to your card being really old and out dated bro.
But if it works fine without the PhysX, that would work fine, just wouldn't have all the extra eye candy and goodies lol.

Damn, looks like stability is still an issue. The game was running all good and stable until about 8 hours in. Now the game CTDs fairly regularly. Sometimes when entering caves or when fighting large mobs. If people were hoping stability of the steam release would be an improvement over the retail release, sadly this is not the case.

That is really weird it is having ctd's like an elder scrolls game lol, i have 185 hours played and never had a ctd like that....even my retail copy was the same. oh well there is always problems with all games some how and not everybody gets them. it's like gambling i guess haha
