I'm not a big fan of hamachi. It screwed with my network, but that was back when minecraft was in the early stage of their beta.

Are there better options to access sacred 2 online where I can join random players instead of having to make a friend play with me?

Your only option to meet randoms on a regular basis would be Tunngle [maybe Gameranger,too but i do not know how many people really play it via GR).
Even the guys from the Sacred 2 Group on steam use it to play

I checked this earlier and didn't see sacred 2 :\ unless there's a non-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ way that I am not aware of.

Okay,didn't know that GR doesn't even have a Sacred Room.You could play in any other room,too but that beats the point of meeting randoms.

Tunngle has a well visited Sacred 2 Room (just ignore all the ads and the bad overall design ofthe software)

thanks guys for the info. I bought my copy here on steam. I also bought a retail copy thats not gold but regular sacred2 will this be able to be played together cause I was told I could give a copy off one disk to two people for lan use

As far as i know,the Sacred 2 Gold edition on Steam already has the expansion tied to the game thus making it impossible to play with vanilla Sacred 2.However,i do not know that for sure and it is worth a try

It is listed as SP game because the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MP Servers are gone but you can host your own server/playsession and play with friends [via the LAN tab,use software like Tunngle to create a virtual one].Give it a go,it's great

I can confirm that tuungle in facts allows you to multiplayer. I have recently been in a game with one other player. Unfortunately the player base was low, but a great way to connect to friends.
