Help needed. Controls stop responding

Anyone know how to help with this problem? The movement and combat controls randomly stop responding. I can still use non movement/combat controls like clicking on the map icon and using potion hotkeys but can't move or attack. Sometimes rights itself after a few minutes but often needs a reboot of the game. Seems to be happening more often the longer I play the game.

Any help would be appreciated as I love this game but it's becoming unplayable.

when this hapens hit the p key it pauses the game and unpause it
