Do the devs check this forum? (never been able to play online)

So, first off. I believe the title of the version if bought was "Sacred 2: Fallen Angel" as a retail copy over a year a go now, and when i tried it, at the time it told me something about needed to be verified, despite already using the CD key successfully. i contacted support requesting help and never heard back. I had already lost faith in trying, but recently i saw this game appear in steam and figured i'd try to see if the creators might see this and offer help. or should i just stop hoping?

there is no online play you can only play through something like Tunngle or Hamachii the servers are down for good because the original creators went bankrupt and not many people were playing online at all so they took down the online servers as for hearing back from them dont count on it... they no longer exist

Ahh, i see. well thank you for that info :) it's a shame to hear about that, i really did enjoy the first sacred, although i must say i am somewhat very confused by the continuity of the game, i vaguely remember the ending of the first game where some dark powers spread over the world as if all evil was being united under one banner, and then the intro of sacred 2 starting as if it's a new story. anyone else notice that? or am i misremembering everything? :S
