Is Christmas Island on this version?

I was wondering if the Christmas Island is available on this version on Steam? Where you can get the Christmas sets. Just curious as I just bought this version (had the physical PC edition that was very buggy on an old computer so I bought this one to maybe play with slightly less problems) and I hadn't played this game for a good amount of time so I am unsure on how to go about the steps to enable the Christmas Island on this steam edition. Anyone that can help point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

No. Island is acessible but without Christmas event. You need instal CM unofficial patch to activate event.

Thanks Charllize. Is the CM unofficial patch stable enough to play for a long period of time? I know the non-steam version was buggy and unstable after 20-30 minutes of continuous playtime. I like to play it for around 4 hours at a time if it is possible.. but if it bugs out every 30 minutes I might pass on the patch. Right now (without the patch) it seems very stable (knock on wood) and I haven't experienced any problems yet.

The patch does not make it unstable, so if it works without the patch it should run fine with it installed.

i dont have any problem with CM patch, game runs fine.

I played ~40 hours and so far I disn't had a single crash with the 1.4 community patch.

Which really surprised me because back in ancient history S2 crashed every hour or so.
