me too, work s fine for me
then in the system folder set compatibility mode to sacred2.exe and s2gs.exe windows vista service pack 2 and check run as administrator.
make a shortcut of the sacred2.exe then right click go to properties and on the shortcut tab add a space then -nocpubinding -skipopenal
im not sure exactly why i do all this stuff or what it does exactly but i read it in a guide a long time ago and have done it every time i need to reinstall and works perfect for me
-skipopenal - not using OpenAl 3d sound (I believe it uses Miles instead) OpenAl may cause unstability.
One thing. In my case Legacy PhysX wouldn't install but I found needed file on my computer. Only one file PhysXloader.dll is needed.
I wonder why whoever sells the gold bundle won't deal with the star problems. If I wouldnt read the forum (and haven't tried whole weekend to play disk version) I would be pretty buggered off.
