If not, Darkmatters has all sort of people playing Sacred 2, maybe you should post there. ^^
I am always faszinated and frustrated in equal terms, that one game can run smoothly out of the box on one system, but refuses to work on antoher system. :|
If all else fails try something other than XP Compatiility. I use Win 7 compatabilty, works well for me.
For those who don't know:
From your Steam Library, right-click on Sacred 2 Gold.
Choose 'Properties,' then the 'Local Files' tab, and choose 'Browse Local Files...'
That'll take you to the folder on your computer where Steam keeps the game files. The file we're looking for is in the "system" subfolder - "sacred2.exe"
Right clickl on "sacred2.exe," and choose 'Properties,' then the 'Compatibility' tab.
Check the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and select "Windows XP (Service Pack 3)" in the dropdown menu below it.
Hopefully this helps!
