Yes they do. They also hide under your bed and slowly eat away your soul while you're asleep.
But that's a minor problem. They probably fix that in the next patch...or do they...

Enemies endlessly respawn, yeah. That's not a glitch, that's how it's supposed to be.

Don't blame the game for you not being a bad enough dude.
