Is there some info on what the bot type does in the multiplayer function?

As of 1.2.1 there are no bots in Megaton Edition and there won't be.

There is an option for bot type when you go to host a lobby in mulitplayer.... that's what i'm talking about there's like 3-4 different types to choose from.

Exactly what I was looking for, thank you. Now is there a way to prevent enemies from constantly spawning after you kill them in multi-player?

You must be playing on Damn I'm Good, the hardest difficulty. Any other difficulty will not have respawning enemies.
