[SOLVED] Logitech Rumblepad 2 problem

Left stick, supposed to control older brother, has the up/down axis inverted! Anyone else having this issue ?

Hey Velve - pretty much the same on my old PS2 pad - axis inverted on left stick and kind of rotated 90 deg on the right stick (up=left, left=down etc) makes it bloody difficult to play.

Maybe try https://code.google.com/p/x360ce/downloads/list. I've used this in the past to get my logitech rumblepad working with games designed for the xbox 360 controller. I remember Darksiders being inverted at first.

having the same problem with Logitech f310, tried using the gamepad software, can't locate executable file for game because icon is a web link : /

Okay, I solved the problem.

Go to your game folder then ../Engine/Config and open BaseInput.ini in notepad.
Now look for this line:

Bindings=(Name="XboxTypeS_LeftY",Command="Axis aBaseY Speed=1.0 DeadZone=0.3")

And insert a "-" (minus sign) in front of the Speed value so that the line becomes:

Bindings=(Name="XboxTypeS_LeftY",Command="Axis aBaseY Speed=-1.0 DeadZone=0.3")

Save the file and start your game: you're done!

Nice one Velve - worked a treat on my left stick.....bloody right stick is still rotated 90 deg though, I'll do more tweaking in the ini file and see what I can break ;-)
